AUGER BEARING/NYLATRON BUSHING - WILL NOT WORK WITH END PLATES THAT WERE ORIGINALLY FITTED WITH THE BRASS BUSHING ON MANY WHITFIELD PELLET STOVES, UPGRADE YOUR ENDPLATE KIT COMPLETELY HERE
This bushing is for Whitfield pellet stove models that already came with a plastic threaded bushing on the auger endplate, replaces factory part number 12021101. Also available is complete endplate kit, see part number PP4010. If your stove came with brass bushings, replace the entire endplate kit.
The original factory version nylatron bushing is no longer sold by itself (part 12021101) but is available from factory as 12153900, the complete auger endplate assembly. Aftermarket version of that complete kit is also available with nylatron bushing at a lower cost, part PP4010. Most older Whitfield pellet stove models came with a brass bushing installed which has been prone to failure and can cause the auger motor itself to fail; brass bushings can wear out causing the plate to loosen which can strip gears.
