This fan generates its own electricity.

Place this fan directly on top of your woodstove and it will run when temperatures rise into operating temperature range. The fan speed will vary according to stove temperature. You can place the fan behind a tray of water so it adds moisture to the air as it runs.

This fan operates by using a thermoelectric module that acts as a small generator to power the fan's motor using a principle called the Seebeck Effect. When the base of the fan is hotter than the top it creates electricity to drive the small motor. This unit is similar to the Heat Wave Fan that we used to offer but is no longer available, which used the Stirling motor system to operate.
