Self Service Guide
Guide to Finding Parts on WoodHeatStoves.com
1. Know your stove’s make, model and serial number. Usually listed on an aluminum label on your stove under the hopper lid, on back or by the gas valve. Some inserts hide the label inside the fireplace so removing the stove may be the only way to find it. This information is crucial to finding the correct parts.
If you are having trouble identifying your stove model, then check out the “IDENTIFY YOUR STOVE” page. Save the page for your model in your search engine favorites.
2. Have your owner’s manual and technical service manuals - Once you have your make and model download your stove manuals from the documents section of our web site. The manuals will have parts lists, maintenance instructions and troubleshooting that is always the first place to go for help.
3. Free parts lists - Have your parts list in hand. Find them under the documents section of our web site on upper left side of the page. These are also the best way to positively identify a Whitfield stove since all serial numbers are listed at the top of each page for each product. Since their serial numbers ran in sequence as models changed this helps them make sure they know which model they have and shows all part numbers for all parts in the stove listed below each model.
4. Using the SEARCH fields - Each page on our website contains two search boxes. These helpful tools can be found on the upper right and right margin of our website. Search for your parts by typing in: “Whitfield combustion blower” “Whitfield blower” “auger motor Advantage II” “low limit switch” etc.
5. Contacting us for help – If you need help from us on ordering, finding parts (not every part we can get is on the web site), PLEASE SEND US AN EMAIL! info@woodheatstoves.com - 24 hour response time on all emails – except major holidays.
