This gelled alcohol is the most common pellet stove fire starter for units without automatic lighting igniters. We also have found that using this in combination with sapwood chips is the best combination. We can get these for you if you can't find them locally.
Stove Bright's alcohol-based gell goes where you want it and provides the hot flame needed to get even pellet stoves started with ease. When used with wood stoves, it won't clog catalytic converters. And naturally, it can also be used on coal stoves.
It has no odor when burning and produces very little smoke. Stove Bright's gel contains no solvents and will not leave a "taste" in barbecued foods.
We also recommend using sapwood or fatwood wood chips with a some gelled alcohol on top of it because the sapwood burns a yellow flame and makes some coals to be easier to see and more likely to light the pellets every time. If you don't find it on our listings just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
to request it. Also, check out the Finding Parts Guide listed on the top left of every web page for tips on finding anything on our site.
