The Homestead will keep your midsize home cozy all day on a single load of wood. The Homestead is available as either a hearth-mount insert with 4" legs for installation in front of a fireplace or a freestanding stove with 6" legs. In fact, the Homestead is among the most efficient woodstoves on the market and due to its solid soapstone panels it will produce a gentle, radiant heat, even hours after the fire has gone out. Its classic styling and slim profile fit beautifully into any space or home decor. There’s nothing like the Homestead for lasting warmth all day long, through the night and day after day all winter long.
Specify in the "comments" box during checkout your choice of either:
- 4" Leg "Hearth Mount"
95-52710 COMPACT OVAL TO ROUND (Standard with H)
- 6" Leg "Freestanding" version.

2.0 cubic foot firebox heats up to 1800 sq. ft. - Accepts 21" logs through large front door.
Universal flue exit - Reversible, flue collar allows top or rear stove pipe connection for a freestanding or hearth-mount installation.
Single air-intake lever/stove control - Stove operation is easy; performance more consistent.
Non-catalytic combustion system - Clean burning, more complete combustion provides more heat from less wood, greater efficiency; reduced smoke and creosote build-up.
Outside air adapter (optional) - Improved efficiency in today’s newer "airtight" homes; reduces cold air drafts along the floor
Rear heat shield (optional) - Allows more placement options; stove can be installed closer to a wall because clearance requirements are reduced; creates a convection passageway between shield and back of stove to allow fan to circulate air through house.
Fan with built-in thermostat and rheostat (optional) - Helps spread heat evenly throughout home; fan operates only when stove is at significant heat level. The rheostat controls fan speed. Use of rear heat shield is required (not available for hearth-mount installation).
Surround for hearth-mount (optional) - Reduces mantel and side clearances and enhances appearance when the Homestead is installed in an existing fireplace.
