The Quest has an oval feed chute in the back wall whereas the Quest Plus has a rectangular feed chute.

Also, One thing that I have found with Whitfield's over the years is that if the older style bronze oilite auger bushing (bearing) is loose in the mounting plate at all, it will stall the motor periodically. In effect, as the auger shaft turns so does the bearing, and it acts like a disc brake, working against the motor. ALL of those older style bearings need to be replaced with the newer Nylotron bearings.
