Factory original auger motor from Lennox/Whitfield. This pellet stove auger motor fits Whitfield models requiring part 12046300 1 RPM auger motor clockwise rotation (when facing the auger shaft). Part PP7000 is the aftermarket version of this pellet stove auger motor and can be found HERE at a lower cost. Some original auger endplates and auger bushings are now made with a NYLATRON bearing rather than brass, which prolongs the life of the auger motor replacement and is required in many cases for the one year warranty to apply. Download the Whitfield Pellet Stove Parts List to confirm correct endplate and bushing kit for your stove model. A new auger end plate kit should be purchased and installed at the same time as your new auger motor. 12153900 is available HERE and fits some Whitfield models including Adv I, Adv II, Adv II-T & III, Adv Plus and the Legend. If you choose to purchase the factory original auger motor, you will also want the factory made end plate kit. An aftermarket end plate kit is also available HERE if you choose the aftermarket auger motor. Some Whitfield models do still use a brass bushing, available HERE, and do not have an upgrade option. Be certain you have followed this three step process to find the right replacement part(s) for your model of pellet stove:

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: As the auger shaft turns so does the bushing which acts like a disc brake, working against the motor. Older style bearings need to be replaced with the newer nylatron bearings in most cases. To test, remove auger motor, empty pellets from hopper, and see how the auger spins in the current bushing. The brass bushing should spin. The auger should spin easily with finger pressure when hopper is empty and motor removed. Properly replacing auger end plate and bushing will increase the lifetime of your auger motor and ensure warranty coverage. This motor has a clockwise rotation as you face the auger shaft. or augar motor as a frequent misspelling. Although aftermarket versions are rated at 1 rpm many actually turn at about 1 to 1.25 rpm which is usually well within factory specifications for all pellet stoves that they are designed for but may require adjustments in rare cases.
