Flame Stoves are made by SBI in Canada, we have handled SBI stoves for many years and can attest to the excellent quality of these stoves. Flame stoves are made of the highest quality Plate Steel available, they have all serviceable and replacable internal components. Removable Stainless Steel secondary combustion tubes, and firebrick baffle (with lots of internal clearance between baffle and top of stove, for great draft!) make this a stove that will last a very long time!! All of their free standing stoves and inserts tested above %75 effeciency to qualify for the wood stove tax credit! Note: the Monaco XTD fireplace does not qualify for federal tax credit.
